MapleCode Half Yearly Highlights

Dear All,

Seasons’ Greetings.

It gives me immense pleasure to roll out the six monthly highlight of MapleCode Consulting Private Limited. The past 6 months was eventful and progressive from a strategic as well as operational stand-point with various core developments seen across the business verticals. This also is the second such group communication from my desk.

We would not have been able to achieve this success without the team (past and present). Thank you for all your efforts and we welcome you to MapleCode again.

Starting Notes

India saw resurgence in most fields especially Metals, Automotive, Banking & Pharmaceutical sectors with the Sensex crossing 17,000 points since October 2008 and raising positive notes for investors and business holdings closer to the festive season. INDIA has been optimistic in hiring from Q3 and Q4, 2009 with acceleration across, mining, construction, wholesale & retail trade, finance, insurance and real estate sectors being most optimistic. The global market also saw optimism with hiring with Brazil, Colombia, Peru, China and Australia seeing surge followed by India. Recessionary trends are walking off with more optimism and careful forecasts by Planning Commissions being on track.

We believe that the years 2010-11 will be the most significant in this recovery stage. It forms each of our individual and group responsibilities to contribute towards this recovery through wise methods including spending, client management, identifying new business opportunities with more vigour and passion than ever before.

MapleCode at 6 months

MapleCode saw many new team members arriving on board in August, September and October of 2009 primarily focussed in the TAG and Sales groups in Bangalore. In its hiring strategy and as an EEO, MapleCode continues to give opportunities to fresh management and technical graduates as well as experienced hands in trying out new opportunities with the group. Operationally, this phase was significant with the Company opening its first national Branch Office in Hyderabad to be headed by Ms. Revti Sahay (Resident Director & Head – Hyderabad Operations) to primarily focus on the TAG group in that region. We welcome Revti to MapleCode.

Sector wise Story Line

IT Advisory Services

MapleCode proceeded to implement an “IT based” working culture within its offices. With this vision in mind, the IT Advisory Services group along with Blu Bee Web Solutions has stepped in with a 12 month IT development contract to automate all activities within the TAG & Sales group within MapleCode. This is an ambitious in-house project with main focus on arriving at ‘better’ solutions to delivery and plan work assignments with clients. External market focus continues with business enquiries across industries.

Marketing & Branding Solutions

MapleCode’s Blue Ocean Strategy to utilize social media to market and promote its brand has yielded momentous results. A sliced version of www.maplecode.com website analysis revealed a 76% Direct Traffic, 14% traffic through Search Engines and 10% through affiliated sites. Site visits have been from the US, UK, Australia, MiddleEast and South East Asia. This signifies that the social branding mechanism worked in promoting the MapleCode brand globally,

Talent Acquisition & Delivery Group

The Talent Acquisition & Delivery Group saw new client additions among the Fortune 500 group. It has been an achievement to partner with these leading groups early on in business. The Sales group continues to target and align itself to generate more recurring businesses through these clients as well as bring in more clients to the Company’s fold in the weeks and months ahead.

Learning Solutions

MapleCode’s Learning Solutions division has initiated the in-house learning program with an aim to train MapleCode’s team in general work, business and operational areas. This is to increase business efficiencies and at the same time grow the system into a well-learned and groomed team.

New Wings and Spread

Close on the heels of opening the Hyderabad office, MapleCode is all set to open its first International Office in Brisbane, Australia along with an Australian owned and managed IT Consulting house there. This office during the period 2009-10 will focus only on MapleCode’s IT Advisory Services business for government, semi-government and non-government organizations in the geography. We look to close this new business lead by the end of October 2009.

We encourage you to be a part of it strategically and operationally.

The Global market cues indicate that 2010 will have exceptional surges in market valuations, revenue projections with INDIA projecting a growth rate of 6-8% in 2010-11-12 much ahead its competitive peers. It is imperative that we do not miss this opportunity at any cost. As I detailed in my 1st newsletter, we need to strive to be #1 or #2 in every business vertical we do business in. We expect the same from every activity that you perform at MapleCode.
